Good things that have happened at Red Mountain since I left

  • La Cam moves to 2nd hour so it no longer conflicts with AcaDeca

  • The twentieth anniversary of the Madrigal Dinner

  • Carolers actually singing "Deck the Halls"

  • Pirates of Penzance

  • The AcaDeca team is decent and actually beat Mountain View

  • Singers sings two of my favorite obscure Christmas carols (Granted, one has only become my favorite since Singers sang it)

  • Choir and its awesomeness continue to exist

Just so you know, Kayla. It was the WORST TIME EVER to graduate.

  1. HA first!
    Anyways, i have sevveral questions.
    1. what is your favorite song now?
    2. did you know that your title for this blog under dec. when shotened says:
    "Good things that have
    happened at Red Mountain
    sin..."
does anyone else get why this seems so rediculous to me?
3.Did you know that when i made that comment i was refering to the fact that you got to come back AND sing with us?

  2. 1. I really like both Sing We Now of Christmas and Maria Durch. Both of them are far better than that awful "Let us see this child" we sang last year. But I had never heard Maria Durch until Will mentioned that Singers was singing it and I looked it up in my handy Oxford Book of Carols (which is awesome).

    2. I do now. Maybe it's some sort of weird technological Freudian slip.

    3. Um, I don't even remember what your exact comment was anymore. I was just doing this to lend credence to my statement that everything good was happening AFTER I left Red Mountain.
